Lewis County Public Health offers a comprehensive public health program that includes Preventative Services, Cancer Services, and Children with Special Needs. Our Preventative Services promote healthy lifestyles and prevent disease, and include: immunizations, lead poisoning prevention, maternal/child home visits, disease control, and health education.

The Cancer Services Program of Lewis & Jefferson pays for breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screenings for qualifying women and men. The Children with Special Needs program focuses primarily on the education and health of children with physical, behavioral or psychological needs.
